WHAT IT IS: ITS4.0 is a design challenge in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Ca' Foscari University of Venice and the ITS academies throughout Italy. The nationwide competition concludes in July with an award ceremony in Rome for the best projects.  

This is a call for expression of personal interest to participate in the project. The company involved is SACBO, manager of Bergamo BGY airport. 

The project is for a limited number of students who will be selected on the basis of motivation. 

WHY: ITS4.0 is a national project which creates a bridge between companies seeking 4.0 experimentation and innovation and the ITS world. It allows students and entrepreneurs to discover side by side the potential of 4.0 technologies in organisations. 

HOW: student involvement is on a voluntary basisto develop the project in times outside the calendar of their ITS course. 

The project is developed in working groups of interested students with accompaniment and tutoring of technical teachers, the company's cooperation project partners and the availability of ITS spaces and resources. 

WHEN: the project is articulated with weekly meetings at ITS to organise and develop the idea and monthly online plenary meetings with all the national ITSs and the MIUR and Ca' Foscari referees. The meetings are in principle scheduled in the afternoon and outside school hours. 

The first appointment for interested parties is for Thursday 8 February at 2 p.m. in ITS MOVE academy for the presentation of the project and the selection and composition of the working group.
