The logistics officer is not only in charge of space management, but also of information flows related to goods. He takes care of all management processes, such as recording and reporting the incoming and outgoing passage of products and materials. The job of the logistics officer is, therefore, very articulated handling and sorting both incoming goods, coming from suppliers, and outgoing goods, destined for client companies or directly for private individuals.

Inside the warehouse is a point of reference for the organisation of products and the relationship with other areas of the company. Optimisation of storage, also possible thanks to the integration of the information systems with the old strategies, it must gradually become more efficient in order to enable the company to increase the performance in its sector of reference.
